In South America, Terre des Hommes Netherlands supports projects in Peru and Bolivia. The regional office was installed in 1990 and is currently located in Cochabamba, Bolivia. There are also two offices, one in Cochabamba (Bolivia), and one in Lima (Peru), which considered proposals for local projects, maintaining the relationships with partners and monitor and evaluate projects supported.

Terre des Hommes Netherlands launches campaign against child domestic labor
In order to make the people recognize and raise awareness to domestic child labor as a social problem and the serious risks this practice poses to children and adolescents Terre des Hommes Netherlands in Peru launched the campaign "In my house there is no Child Domestic Work".
According to the International Labour Organization ILO, in Peru there are about 110 000 children and adolescents involved in domestic work, and child domestic labor is a form of exploitation that makes children and adolescents are subject to long working hours, unable to study properly, can not play or interact with others their age. In addition, they are exposed to hazardous situations such as accidents or injuries and may be victims of sexual harassment.
