South America
In South America, Terre des Hommes Netherlands supports projects in Peru and Bolivia. The regional office was installed in 1990 and is currently located in Cochabamba, Bolivia. There are also two offices, one in Cochabamba (Bolivia), and one in Lima (Peru), which considered proposals for local projects, maintaining the relationships with partners and monitor and evaluate projects supported.

In South America, Terre des Hommes works in Bolivia and Peru, supports close to 30 local organizations that execute projects in health, education, handicapped issues, socioeconomic development and HIV/AIDS.

Progress in project CUBE
During March the project CUBE (A Breeze of Hope Center), implemented by our co-part MAP, had among its main achievements the execution of five sentences for Violation to children or adolescents, two for the offense of Statutory rape and 1 for the offense of Indecent assault. In addition 51 girls and young children received counseling to make them know their rights, support for their statements in court proceedings and activities to reinforce social values. The project also managed to inform and raise awareness to 34 educators and parents with issues of sexual violence, sexuality and formal complaint and conducted workshops with similar themes with 153 students in elementary and secondary school.
