Education
Within the Education Programme, Terre des Hommes Netherlands ensures that children living in remote rural areas and children with special needs, such as children with a disability, the girl-child, children affected by HIV/AIDS and children that are vulnerable to abuse and exploitation:
- Have access to good-quality early childhood education and development, primary and secondary education and vocational training
- Are getting instruction from well trained teachers
Terre des Hommes Netherlands supports local partners in catering for school fees and scholastic materials, paying of staff salaries, constructing of school facilities and training of teachers.
